Just bought my first Jacob Bannon print. STOKED.

Finally unrolled my Luke Martin Phish NYE print. So sick! The disco ball and night sky really sparkle. I gave Luke the go-ahead to doodle on it and I love what he did. The Auld Lang Syne (which Phish plays during balloon drop at midnight every year) on the statue looks like it was almost graffiti'd on in the universe of the print. There's also a "For Drew" in the bottom right window.

 

Legitimately blown away by my first Jacob Bannon piece. It's just a complete bonus that it's #2 out of 200 too. Don't think I've ever had a number that low...

 

My cousin beat me in an online raffle for a Chuck Sperry "Rhyme" and was nice enough to gift it to me. So, finally, at long last...I HAVE MY FIRST SPERRY!

So gorgeous in person. Shame his art costs so much because I'd definitely own a lotttttt more of it if it wasn't so hard to get my hands on.

damn it, I would have picked up that AF print in a heartbeat. recently picked this one up from their show in Brooklyn. Luke Martin/Suburban Avenger has been on a roll lately.

 

Jacob Bannon + Thomas Hooper "Catalyst," light and dark variants. The paint on this is so thick. Love the "John Doe" nickname.

Vacvvm is posting all of their mondocon prints, so many rad prints came out this weekend.

 

Got my first high quality print at the Thrice/MewithoutYou LA show specifically from that show. It’s the nicest print I’ve gotten before. Suggestions on where to get a frame for it? I know next to nothing about this stuff haha. It’s 18x24

 

18x24 is a standard size so it should be pretty easy. Michaels has a good variety and if they arent on sale, they usually have a 40% or 50% coupon you can use. (managed the custom frame shop there for awhile)
