Additional statement from Shane Black: Shane Black apologizes for casting registered sex offender in 'The Predator'
Nothing to get excited about according to reviews. Looks like I’ll just stick to watching the original Predator until the next film is released. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about this franchise it’s that the bad movies are very bad.
Yeah, this was bad. The humor is funny if you think lazy stereotypes about Tourette’s are witty. The cast is good except for the lead, who makes Sam Worthington look charismatic. It has a few cool action sequences, but that’s no reason to sit through this.
I was really looking forward to this and want to support it so we'll get more in the future.....but why am I hearing this is a full on comedy?
That makes me feel a little better.....but MCU comedy in a Predator movie doesn't seem like a fit. I guess I'll see for myself....
This was awesome....and also since I never really looked into it, I never realized that Shane Black was that dude in Predator haha
Yyyeaaaa this movie is almost impressively idiotic. HOWEVER. I had way more fun watching it than the previous few entries.
Sad to see this not getting a strong reception as I really like the first film, even had some fun with the second and Predators was decent plus Shane Black has done plenty that I have loved before but going to give this a miss despite initially being excited about it.
I did not like this at all. It was an action comedy with lots of really bad jokes. It felt like it could be an original movie on the sci-fi channel.
This was entertaining as hell. So many laughs. Also was surprised to see Chattanooga as a setting in the movie.
Apparently the entire 3rd act was reshot and rewritten. Originally it included friendly preds helping the good guys and the little kid is the one that eventually took out the big one lol.
Well this bombed hard with a weekend estimate of $24m which is not only worse than Predators but also the worst opening for a film shown in 4000+ theaters.
