Damn, was hoping this was an adaptation of the Don Winslow book trilogy

takeaway here should really be that journalists gotta stop asking filmmakers about superheroes movies for clicks

Wouldn't it be nice if journalists asked directors questions about the movies they made

 

I really hate that style of journalism. It's the same style of journalism that repeatedly asks bands or ex-band members when they're getting back together. Like... bottom feeder scum of the earth style journalism, in my opinion.

 

i agree. that being said, the more filmmakers speaking out about the death of their industry, the better.

 

This is incredible. My current film of the year (until Licorice Pizza most likely)
