Last time I was at Meadowbrook was to see Sarah McLachlan. At least this time it'll be less awkward if I'm all dressed in black lol.
I honestly can't think of many tours that could possibly be better than this for me. I will be devastated if we don't get at least one show over here.
The Postal Service + Death Cab for Cutie to continue Give Up/Transatlanticism tour in 2024 (altpress.com)
I really wish they had a show that wasn't a festival. I was dying to see the 10 year shows for those two albums.
All Points East isn't really a festival in the usual sense. It's practically not much different to a big outdoor show since it's a one dayer and the headliners just play their tour sets.
And yeah, that was great. Kind of crazy how packed it was. I don't know why I could never have imagined such a huge crowd for The Postal Service.
Yeah I probably should have just gone but I generally hate outdoor shows with too many people and I wasn't sure how busy it would be. Plus I don't think I really cared about any of the other artists playing.
Same. Bands got decent crowds throughout but it got super busy for Death Cab & Postal Service. Enjoyed some bands I’d never checked out before. Sleater Kinney, Teenage Fanclub, Everything Everything, and Decemberists.
