It looks like Postal Service are closing each show

If you leave early, you can be on your train within ten minutes from wherever you're seated at MSG.

Not sure if I'm going to leave before the end tonight. I do have an hour drive once I make it back to Secaucus, so that might be wise.

That looks like the smallest arena stage I've ever seen.

The show tonight was awesome. Death Cab killed it, but it was very obvious who the crowd was mainly there for. Everyone got out of their seats for Postal Service and stayed on their feet the rest of the night.
Hard to choose which set was my favorite, both were amazing

Ben played through Transatlanticism like he had to make it to the bathroom in the worst way. The title track sounded great though. Many elder emos weeping.

Postal Service was better than expected. Still an odd to choice to play a song twice. Stage design for this tour was really great.

Saw it in NYC on Tuesday. Just proved to me that while Trans… is a perfect album and a capsule of the time in the best way; Give Up is a timeless piece. It was just so so so good

Enjoyed the show in PHX last night. Someone was right about how quick it goes by. I was in my car by 9:59.

Merch line was craziest I've ever seen. Probably at least 100 people long the entire time even during sets. And it was in the foyer outside the room the show was in so people missed entire sets probably. Someone told me it was 450 long at one point and they might be right.

Did anyone tune into the livestream?

The merch was ugly too. Strange

Merch line in Chicago was the longest I’ve ever seen. Had to have been 300-400 people. Luckily no line during Postal Service, only missed like half a song

I’m still bamboozled why none of these people didn’t get to riot fest? Merch line was a breeze earlier in the day and the cost of 3-day pass was cheaper than re-sale for the salt shed show.

Got tickets for Sunday, did not realize Built to Spill was opening. Very cool.

Hollywood Bowl show tonight was superb. Death Cab was great and it was cool to finally hear some of my favorites from them live. Postal Service was incredible and sounded so good. There was such a great energy from them and the crowd the whole time! It was super cool that they brought out Jen Wood to do Nothing Better. And of course, Built To Spill killed it, although I do wish they played more of their shorter songs as opposed to their more longer, jammy songs, so they could’ve fit more in.

Also, I had such a weird interaction at the show tonight… Seconds after Built To Spill finished their set, someone sitting in front of me turned around and asked me “so that band that just played, was that The Postal Service?…”

Was there last night as well. Both sets sounded great. I thought the crowd was a little lame though especially for Death Cab. Maybe it was just my section.

People were much more hyped for The Postal Service than they were for Death Cab, I noticed. And I guess it makes sense

I posted this in the main tour thread, but Kilby Block Party’s lineup apparently leaked this week and both bands are on the lineup. Are we thinking they’re doing another leg of the tour? Ben said otherwise, I know, but with how insane this tour did, I could easily see them doing another leg to hit the areas they missed
