If Robby reports it sure. He could fire him without cause or make up another reason. Who knows what they'll do.

 

Yeah I’m still reeling from that episode.

 

Watching some ER now. Tail end of season 8. The end of Dr. Greene's arc and the Smallpox season finale are all timers.

 

I totally forgot about the Dr. Romano helicopter stuff. First time in season 9 was shocking, second time in season 10 was when ER kind of jumped the shark.

 

So are they just writing that character off or will we see him again?

I guess I am thinking he is gone. How could he be trusted to come back, right?

 

Wasn't he not just stealing the medication, but stealing it from patients or altering their amounts or something? That is a much bigger deal than just stealing it, but putting the patients at risk by doing so

 

I assumed he was ordering higher doses than his patients actually needed and stealing the difference. I think we’ll see him again if there’s a mass-casualty event a lot of people seem to be expecting over the last few episodes.

 

He stole pills from the alcoholic and then was ordering more vials of benzos than needed and stealing from those before they got sent back and locked up.

 

Great episode

That scene where Langdon is throwing Santos under the bus to Robbie was hard to watch, kind of irredeemable. The show did a great job of setting her up to be kind of a problem child so to keep us guessing until that moment

I wonder what it’s going to be like for her when people realize Langdon is missing and the folks she tried to warn connect the dots. I wonder if it’ll come out to Robbie at all that multiple people advised her to ignore it. Also wonder how, if it’s even revisited, it will affect her situation if intubated groomer dad tries to snitch on her for threatening him

 

The surgeon seems weirdly defensive about Langdon. I wonder how she is going to tie into all of that.

 

i don’t think she was being defensive of him lol. i think she was annoyed at someone on their first day on the job, who had just stabbed them in the foot, overstepping (as far as they were concerned)

 

The preview does have her saying something like, “I don’t want to be involved with that” when it looks like Santos telling her about it for this week’s episode.

 

Watching the 1997 live episode of ER from season 4 that is shot documentary style. The very first primetime drama to do a live episode. God this show swung for the fences.

 

While I haven't watch an episode of ER but I do remember this episode in particular was a huge deal, it even made primetime news headlines in the UK at the time!

 

The helicopter scene in ER was crazy. I still remember watching it with my mom

 

Which one? lol there were two crazy helicopter scenes involving the same character.

 

Wait really? I just remember the one abrasive doctor getting his arm severed.

 

Look up what happens next lol

 

In the very next season that same doctor dies from having a helicopter crash on top of him. It was the most ridiculous over the top things ER ever did lol

 

So because Langdon is guilty everyone likes Santos now? I still think everything he said about her is true. She has not been humbled, even after making countless mistakes.

 

The way she has interacted with other employees is still a little irritating, but she followed her gut on something that actively made the hospital a safer place. She’s not among my faves but I like her more now than I did before, yeah

 

I don’t like her. She’s a bully.

Oof. Had a flashback to 8th grade health class with the miracle of life video. Then this went beyond that.
