I got mine done as a kid. Never have to fear of a bad one like this now.

 

I figured it was maybe a split custody issue where the dad would never let her get one. Or it was an incest pregnancy. Didn’t think of the “mom” being her aunt.

 

Yeah I wasn’t 100% sure but was leaning towards that not being her mom. Cause of that one line and I few other interactions.

 

I wonder if that the pregnancy timeline doctoring they were doing is gonna bite them in the ass now because of that. A lot of medical ethics stuff coming into play here.

 

I'm nervously waiting for the incel kid to pop up again.

 

Finally watched the latest episode. Goddamn that was good. Poor Whitaker! That blood super had me laughing hysterically and I'm dying to know how many pairs of scrubs he's gonna have to go through in this shift.

 

I've always had a fear of this. I used to get Tonsilitis all the time (actually just had it again last Thanksgiving) and since my teens, it has been recommended to me to remove my tonsils - but the older you get (I'm 39 now), the harder of a surgery it is to recover from with more risk than it is for kids.

I remember in my early 20s, I was dating a girl who had it done and her recovery process was a nightmare, and she essentially couldn't put any solids in her mouth for a while for fear of rupturing the surgery site inside and was blatantly told she could bleed out if it happened.

Now, as a parent, both of my kids (10 & 7) have gotten Strep a crazy amount of times, to the point that our pediatrician has always recommended getting their tonsils removed, but no thanks.

 

I like how even the doctors on the show are calling him "the incel kid" lol

 

Santos is so annoying and kind of an asshole but I guess that is the point. They'll probably make me feel bad for her by the end most likely.

 

It was super weird when both the annoying characters on the show were openly flirting when everyone is working on the patient. The surgeon annoys me lol she just always comes in and is so thirsty to cut people open.

 

I have heard doctors and nurses say that is exactly how most surgeons are

 

yeah that feels pretty realistic

 

I think the collar bone pull might be the grossest thing this show has done so far

 

it’s still the leg snap from e1 for me lol

 

Laughed pretty hard when they order primanti's

 

The Captain Morgan hip displacement technique scene was funny

 

“who is captain morgan”

 

Damn this show is so good, crazy to think I never seen ER or any drama series set in a hospital but The Pitt is so fucking good so far!!

God every week I continue to be blown away. Everyone is a blast to watch but Noah Wyle really is the heart of it all.

 

I’ve never watched a medical drama (unless Scrubs counts, lol) but this is very good.

 

This felt a bit like a transition episode but it was good. I still feel like a big mass casualty event is looming later in the shift.

 

I'ts only a month and one week into 2025, but right now this is holding the crown of "best new series of the year" until something else knocks it off.

 

This and severance have been amazing.
