Holy fuck just give Noah Wyle the Best Actor Emmy already.. what a performance by him in the latest episode

 

Noah Wyle is moving up a lot in the Gold Derby odds. Adam Scott is still by far the odds favorite though. Wyle will 100% get nominated though.

Right now per the oddsmakers The Pitt will get Best Drama and Best Actor in a Drama noms but lose to Severance in both.

 

The end of that episode was tough to watch, goddamn.

Man as much as I really loved Severance S2........The Pitt was truly something else and imo the breakout star of this season and ultimately the better of the two.

2 completely different types of shows. Both are great.

 

"ER made me want to become a doctor" is something I have heard from millennial doctors a lot. That and Scrubs seem to be the two most influential medical shows among physicians under 45.

We still haven't seen Pedro Pascal or Diego Luna's performances next month so saying Wyle is a lock to win is a little early.

I really thought this was finally going to be the moment Santos screwed up and killed someone. It's gonna happen, sorry you Santos fans. She's still arrogant and hasn't learned a thing.

 

Yeah I thought Langdon or Santos were going to fuck up and kill a patient.

Legendary character actor the voice of Chucky himself Brad Dourif will play the father of Dr. McKay coming to pick up Harrison. Dr. McKay is played Fiona Dourif, his real life daughter

 

That is awesome lol

 

Listening to cast interviews. One interesting thing they pointed out was that they say fans are missing a lot of the subtle context around Santos' character that explains why she is that way. I guess there is a whole subtext about abuse around that character that they say many fans aren't picking up on.

 

How the fuck could someone not pick that up?

 

I thought it was pretty obvious when she berated the dad who was alleged of abusing their child, no?
