We thinking maybe David snuck off to the roof and we might get Javadi talking him off a ledge or something more? The timeline here being only a couple hours later is what throws me off - it's still the same day as when he came in the first time, but did he really have time to get home, get a weapon, and get to a large concert festival?

 

Feel like that whole thing happened around episode 3, so he would’ve had somewhere between 7-9 hours

 

I don’t think that’s how it’ll go. And yea, he had plenty of time.

 

Yeah, David came in during episode 1 (7:00 am) and left towards the end of the episode. Shooting at Pitt Fest happens during episode 11 (5:00pm), so he would have had time for sure.

Doug punched Dana at the end of episode 9 (3:00 pm) so maybe he's in play here still.

EDIT: It was mentioned that David recently turned 18 (thus why his mom couldn't force him to psych). Pennsylvania's age limit to purchase a rifle is 18 and they don't restrict magazine size.

 

It’s probably David but why would he shoot up Pitt fest? The girls on his list went to it maybe?

 

It being Doug doesn’t make any sense. He just seems like an asshole

 

David just seems like the obvious choice for a show that might not want to do the obvious, which is why I haven’t ruled out a pilled-up Langdon getting sent home and creating a mass casualty event for him to return to and save the day while hiding from the SWAT that showed up in case the shooter went to the hospital.

It’s probably David. Three more episodes.

Had a brief thought last night that it could be Jake which seems more likely than Langdon to me but still way too dark for this show.

They mentioned that the police/FBI had pinged David's phone near the Pitt Fest location while they were talking to his mom.

If it is him, I wonder if Dr. Robby would get in criminal trouble for knowing what he did and not purposely alerting the police ahead of time

 

Nah I think that would be a stretch. They were limitations of what he could do with David being 18.

I would prefer it not be anyone we know because the amount of coincidences that are piling up to make this specific day an unprecedented nightmare for Robby are gonna start to get a little silly

 

I don’t think it’s Langdon. This show touches on a lot of individual topics that essentially act as PSAs, and I don’t think they’d have a drug addict double as a mass murderer.

 

It's 100% David. I only threw out Doug as an example of something a lesser show would do lol

Also the thought of it being Jake as some crazy twist did cross my mind too, but again this isn't that type of show .

 

if you think for one milisecond it is langdon you need to get your brain checked
