I was going to be but I think Whitaker is there for her so not so much now. Robby has nobody lol, even he and Dana are screaming at each other
I don’t like how they’re all treating that guy like he’s just some dick when it’s clear that he was experiencing a horrific delusion himself. He’s closer to the “Kraken” guy in s1 than the guy who punched Dana. Even McCay of all people was being mean to him
Five minutes in and even Dana is starting to crash out while Al-Hashimi realizes everything is even more fucked than she had realized They were like three only two people left who weren't already at wits end so I can't see this ending will
Lol is this season set in the future? July 4th is a Saturday this year not last year Also lol at Mel's deposition also apparently being on a weekend
Elderly patients daughter was from Glow right? I know I’ve seen her somewhere. For some reason this episode felt extremely long. Not that I was bored or not entertained or invested, far from it. Just kinda seemed like I kept expecting it to end then it didn’t. kinda sympathize with Robbie. My job makes me hate life and I always wanna be anywhere else yet somehow I can’t not care enough to go above and beyond and pick up everyone’s slack around me. I don’t take it out on women though.
Scalp wasn't the worst thing this show had ever shown but it's definitely up there. Same with the sun burn. Machu Pichu!!!
One of the best parts was when they were walking her out of the room in the background of a different scene edit: the sun burn patient. I really wanna know how they treat that
Santos: we don't say oops in front of patients Also Santos 30 second later: Memento Mori mother fuckers Still blows my mind that this is somehow one of the funniest shows on television in addition to being one of the most intense and dramatic
I'm just as confused as mohan if "you seem to have a predisposition for the pace" was a complement or an insult Dana and Robby's interactions this episode were so fucking good. You can 100% see where both of them are coming from. Do *not* like how long the camera lingered on Santos taking that scaple. Not to mention her flipping out on Whiticker for no reason. Joy is such a boss for just going home. She better be back for S3
Yuuuuup haha, in 2012ish I played in a wiffleball tournament. It was rainy & cloudy. However, the second I got there it became the sunniest day to ever hit MA, UV index high as fuck, and my white Irish ass was outside in pure sun with no care in the world for like 8 hours. Sun poisoning. Horrible horrible time.
Robby gotta be killed by Mohan, Dana gotta be allowed to kill patients at will, no sympathy for coked up alcoholic for his completely self inflicted violent delusions, love seeing Cpt Cragen still working, scared for Santos but her convo with Whitaker was very sweet, love Joy. Great ep
I’ve never done well in the sun because I’m white AF but when I was in my early 20s, my friends and I went to Put in Bay (island off Lake Erie) and I was on an antibiotic that made me even more prone to sunburn and I got second degree sunburn all over. I’m talking blisters everywhere. 0/10 experience.
Idk, there’s a pretty clear difference between someone with mental health challenges, and a country club douche who can’t handle his coke, and clearly isn’t that nice of a person when he’s sober either. Also not a surprise at all that McCay, who advocates for the street team to help underprivileged people, would side eye someone so privileged who’s being an asshole. Pretty in-line with her character.
And also was clearly trying to use her reasoning as a crutch to excuse his actions. The second she was like “well that’s just the explanation, that doesn’t mean you won’t still be responsible for your actions” he went right back to being an entitled dickhead
Definitely wasn’t intended as a compliment given the context of how much Robbie was on her case for pace of work in season one. I think it’s just the later scene with the couple where the husband thanked her where she realized even if it wasn’t a compliment it might be something she’s well suited for regardless.
Also mccay is an addict in recovery herself. I would imagine she doesn’t respond well to someone just blaming their actions on drug use trying to get away with whatever they did
