Great episode, and the scene between Langdon and Santos was perfect. Santos was 100% right imo and I was glad she didn’t accept the apology.
If security asks why a random man is taking pictures outside the hospital just tell them you're allowed because your girlfriend is a Nurse they'll get it.
If you think the timing of the episode shooting was wild just want until you see when Veep was filmed!
We got only a few episodes left and we haven't heard from Baby Jane Doe in awhile...also we still don't know what is going on with Al-Hashimi's neuro stuff. Wtf is gonna happen these last few episodes?
I saw a reel saying he’s named after Ogilvie Syndrome where the colon muscles relax and don’t work - he’s literally full of shit and useless.
Came across this vid from a couple months back where Isa explains what may be going on inside Santos’ head this season re: Langdon https://youtube.com/shorts/dGdqc1vbZpE?si=qXuSOgQIb7em1Fwy
most unrealistic part of this episode is the ICE agents taking the woman to the ER? Feel like they'd just throw someone in the back of a van and let them scream all the way to the detention center.
From a practical standpoint, I guess you really can't have a storyline about it and comment on it if they (realistically) don't actually go to the hospital lol, unless like McKay ran into them on the street team or something
I rationalized it in my mind as "they're bringing this detainee in as an excuse to probe the hospital"
I think Santos is less in the right than the rest of you. I think her whole “absolve yourself by telling everyone” is bullshit. It’s just about her winning and him losing. I think she thinks people don’t like her because of Langdon, when in reality she’s just a giant asshole. I also don’t agree Langdon got away consequence-free. There are more consequences to actions than “did they get fired or not.”
I don’t disagree because I do think that, taken literally, Santos telling him to go share the details of what led to him going to rehab is shitty and misguided. But Santos is right that if they did know, the reception would likely be different, and he shouldn’t expect a first-day-back hallway apology to be accepted just because everyone else other than Robby is happy to see him back. I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve forgiveness, but it does reek of privilege that allowed him to return in the first place.
