also saw an interesting theory that Jake is lifeguarding or something at the water park since him being a lifeguard was talked about in S1

To be clear my interesting comment was sarcastic. It sounds awful and would be what 90% of other shows would do to make more drama lol

If the conversations were 3 minutes longer and they played Radiohead or Pearl Jam in the background I swear this show would literally be The Bear in an emergency room

My guess is Whitaker isn’t on Santos’ lease or even subleasing, they just have an informal agreement that he gives her some amount of money each month to live in her guest room

I’d assume Santos might be making him help with rent at this point, maybe? My assumption at the end of s1 was that he was just crashing for free, but I could see that changing overtime. If he is helping with rent at Santos’, then this could help him save.

This show is good at little moments or cuts to characters to give you little bits of story during other scenes. Digby seems like a sweet guy, I liked that he jumped out of his bed and moved out of the way when they brought the crash cart in

I like that the retired clerk coming back felt like a return of a character from a 2000's version of The Pitt we never got to see lol

He’s gonna have to tell Santos he’s not staying there for a 3 months and then they’re gonna get into it cause he won’t be paying her rent for 3 months. Dramaaaaa.

Poor Santos is gonna be all alone with Whitaker gone and Garcia distancing herself

I love that we are getting so much more Princess and Perlah stuff this season. They are great comedic relief.

They never directly said what is going on with Becca besides just her symptoms. It's just a UTI right?

I wonder who the show’s first breakout star will be, like who from the cast will get so big that they leave to focus on movies. It’s bound to be someone

My guess has been that Patrick Ball is gonna be the Clooney of this show. Dude looks like a straight up movie star, plus he's a great actor.

I could see Isa Brionnes getting cast in a big theatrical film musical given her Broadway pedigree. Surely will be in the theatrical version of Hadestown when they eventually make it.

Pleased to see ER suddenly in HBO Max's #2 most watched show rankings behind The Pitt.

Given his age, it’s kind of shocking to see Ball has no other on-screen acting experience outside of The Pitt. Outside of Wyle, he’s my favorite on the show.
