Maybe. I think Becca will be used as a part of Langdon's character development. As far as how they will execute that I dunno.
Prestige Pod pointed out that it doesn't really make sense yet why Westbridge had to completely shut down due to involuntary computer outage, but The Pitt is staying open while their computer outage is voluntary.
They probably just figured it would be better to send the patients who were most in need of immediate care to a place with working tech. Even the Pitt staff are just hearing second-hand that Westrbidge is "shut down" and it could mean something other than "we are literally 100% closed and not operating at all" - like it could just mean "don't send people here if they need immediate intensive care because there's a better option available"
I know the preview made it look like Garcia was scolding Javadi, but I wonder if it’s just the edit and it is actually Santos. I can’t think of a woman patient Javadi was with that would fit what Garcia was saying.
The photogenic memory scene was a little bit too convenient for me, and like, the staff is just trusting that she memorized *everything* on the patient board?
Also, if I had a photogenic memory, I’d be telling people about it left and right and never stop talking about it, haha, and she just pulls it out of nowhere casually at the most pressing time.
Anybody in here have Margarita Sunburn before? I like they keep alluding that Robby did a fellowship in Palliative Medicine.
Well anything she said / wrote down could just be checked by the doctor who was treating that given patient. Isn’t the chart more for managing the flow of things? I don’t think a doctor already dealing with a patient on the chart would need to consult it themselves I did think it was funny that Al-Hashimi was the one writing down everything she was saying until at a certain she was just like “wait I should be dealing with patients and am really not needed for this” lol
I had forgotten that the whole “want to guess their blood alcohol level… because it’s fun” bit is something Langdon said to Santos in s1.
I liked that episode. Felt pretty minor and I was definitely expecting more to happen considering we’re eight episodes in, but it was still good. It was almost easy to forget at times that there was an outage, and I agree that Joy remembering the entire board was a little jarring.
