Another really great episode

 

I don’t think anyone has said she’s a bad / uncaring doctor? It’s that she’s the worst kind of “coming in on the first day and trying to immediately change things despite not knowing the people or what works / doesn’t work” new boss.

 

Ogilvie being shitty about Louie is the closest thing this show will get to “having a character kick a puppy to convey that they’re bad”

 

Idk if that’s an apt comparison. Ogilvie was shitty about Louie but I’d attribute that (and his grating demeanor overall) to low emotional intelligence rather than plain cruelty. He’s not a sociopath

 

Man this show is so good.

 

3 Rivers was turf not a grass field.

I didn’t say he was a sociopath. What I’m saying is that it’s the show very obviously trying to get us, the audience, to hate him

Liked that it was all about the nurses

 

I love the thoughtful symbolic shots this show makes. ER would do the same thing. Sometimes they're easy to miss but they're so powerful.

Perfect example in this episode is after Louie dies and they call him the camera pans to the unhoused patient Digby and just holds on him for a few seconds.

 

@imthegrimace clinchfisting through this episode because they mentioned Sonny's Tavern and not Alexions.
