Continues to be one of those shows where my eyes are just glued to the screen the entire time and the episode seems to be over in a flash. Can't get enough of this!

I know the speculation/rumor is something drastic is going to happen to Robbie health-wise, but imo, I think it's going to be more of him getting in trouble than it is him getting seriously injured.
I think something is going to happen to a patient as a result of Robbie's resistance to change/patient-staff improvement. He also seems to be a bit reckless in rushing to evaluations/diagnosis and I think ultimately he's going to make some sort of drastic mistake (maybe with the baby?)

I feel like that's the point? It was criticized in the episode and I would be surprised if later in the season it causes something bad to happen

  6. I had captions on while watching and someone referred to the new attending as Dr. Al, which in text obviously looks like they’re saying Dr. AI. Made me laugh

The AI stuff is obviously there so it can be pointed out that they can’t rely on it later when the hospital computers get ransomware’d

If that's about the extent of it within the season then I thought it was a nice aside to show the trade-offs of time saved vs the inconsistencies of AI in the healthcare space.

Now, if they go all in on it or make AI I really big part of the season then I will be less than thrilled.

some of the writing feels like writing- it's not perfect. I don't really love it when the characters are speaking to each other but clearly discoursing the zeitgeist

doesn't impact my overall enjoyment yet though

Prestige TV pod seems to be convinced they're setting Whitaker up for a major fuck up later in the season. Too many "good job, atta boy my new protege"s from Dr. Robby

  11. I’m sure the AI stuff will lead to a fuck up this season or in the case of the hinted at storyline in trailers of them losing power I’m sure she’ll be less effective without it. Just annoying to see the stuff of like “it’s 98% effective and gives you more time to spend with patients” “wow this is awesome!” Like shut up lol

I was listening to the podcast last week and they mentioned that's her thing this season, it's definitely sticking around to annoy us.

Seems like Santos arc right now is her really trying to hold back and restrain her bad habits from season 1.

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

My primary uses AI to record and write the note. I like it because it does allow them to be more hands on and actually listen to me as a patient.

Also insurance companies are using AI to deny claims so sometimes you gotta fight fire with fire.

the fact they're calling text-to-speech technology "AI" lowkey drives me nuts. that shit existed for awhile

I think it’s technically generative AI because it’s taking what the patient said and putting it into actual usable/chartable notes, not just directly typing up a transcript of what was said. Very similar to any Teams or Zoom meeting these days that shows “meeting notes” or a summary after it’s over.
