I went to the ER for an infected tooth like Louie a few years ago. So that part I felt deeply. Mine was worse actually. It turned into full blown facial cellulitis and the right side of my face was completely swelled up and I had a pretty high fever. I had to be on IV antibiotics for two days. They said if I waited a day or two longer it would have spread to my brain.
Yeah tooth pain like that is not to be fucked with Great premiere. Laughed at Robby saying “this baby looks great” for some reason. I’m a little surprised to see how he’s reacting to the new attending Very happy to see Dana, the best character in the show, back (if I knew the actress was returning then I forgot). Was fun to watch her mother Troy while he scrubbed all the shit off himself as he just grunted back and asked for conditioner Mel not taking the hint from Oedipus guy but still lighting up for boba was good Glad Langdon did the 12 step thing with Louie but I’m very interested to see how his redemption with Robby and confrontation with Santos go. What he did isn’t exactly something you’d expect to see forgiven in one day of work, but I suppose this is television lol. Curious how far they’ll take his redemption arc this season, or if we’ll have to wait til 3 before he’s truly back in good graces
The way it cut to black right after you see the new attendee’s face as she’s looking at the baby…..yeah that’s fucked.
Just started the episode and it’s already as good as I had hoped. I’m so glad this is back, feels great to see these characters again.
I believe he was also the serial killer who had to kill women to stop rapidly aging in a Fringe episode way back in the day.
Anything with eyes instantly makes my eyes irritated and watery. Like that episode of the simpsons where Homer goes to work for Hank Scorpio and Lisa is walking in the woods and smells a flower and gets allergies. Makes my eyes itch every time
I was thinking what is going to be wrong with this baby that will be the major hook of this season, and I am thinking what if it's something fucking crazy like Polio?
This week is gonna be a Dr. Joe Sachs written episode. He is an actual board certified ER doc and veteran medical show technical advisor. It should be a good one, he wrote almost all my favorite episodes of season 1 (9AM, 2PM, 6PM, 7PM).
