Katherine LaNasa's wiki page is quite a read. One of those veteran working journeyman TV character actresses that has guest spots in almost every major network drama for the past 30 years but never got a big breakout role until now. She was also married to Dennis Hopper in the late 80's when he was 53 and she was 22.
Yeah when the show was a couple episodes in and I also read up on her. Was very surprised to read that she was married to him.
One of the funnest facts i learned about this show is that Supriya Ganesh who plays Dr. Mohan was actually in the process of trying to apply to medical school when she auditioned and was working as an MCAT tutor up until while the show was airing.
After letting this sit for a month or so I think episode 8 (pediatric drowning, freedom house, honor walk) might be the best of the season. The last 4 were great but man Hour 8 hit on another level emotionally. Also a stellar acting performance from Dearden.
Also idk why I didn’t link the video before but I’ve watched this like every day since stumbling upon it
As much as I'm enjoying the last of us, it's not the threat to the pitt that i thought it might be this season. And id still give this the nod over anything from severance.
Was looking at Variety's most recent Emmy predictions . Besides best actor they also have The Pitt getting the Emmy for Best Casting Drama, which honestly seems kind of like a layup category for this show.
Eh but the last of us cast this season has also been fire. Not sure the requirements however. Plus The Pitt has Santos…
Santos is a great character. Isa Briones gave a great performance. Santos was annoying and abrasive because they wrote her that way. They pulled off making her sympathetic in the end I think.
I read that to maintain immersion they made everyone on set wear scrubs including the crew behind the camera
