Fentanyl parents felt equally stubborn and reacted appropriately I thought Dementia siblings reacted so differently specifically because of the separate relationships they had with their father, suppose maybe they could’ve flipped them or something but idk Measels parents were the only ones that felt a little targeted, but frankly it feels weird to always see praise for this show’s consistency with real ERs and then nitpick stuff like that. Abrasive helicopter mom might not be a great stereotype but it may very well be an accurate one in that setting for all I know
Legal Eagle the biggest legal analysis channel on YouTube just covered The Pitt vs Crichton Estate lawsuit in depth Basically this all stems from Crichton's widow originally being pissed that his credit on Westworld got downgraded from "created by" to "based upon", and so she was extra aggressive in her negotiations for the ER reboot that it backfired and killed the idea of it being ER entirely.
The irony is Crighton himself was sued for plagiarism in very similar cases on at least three different occasions and won every time. Now the shoe is on the other foot. Crichton was also an anti-science global warming denying nut later in life.
Not the only background character that was a medical professional. A few of the minor nurses that didn't speak much were played by real nurses.
Just echoing what others have said, just fantastic television. I got emotional when the daughter found her mom after she was shot, then making Dr. King upset. I don’t like it when she is upset
dr king was the mvp of the season for me. blew my mind when i found out she is bryan cranstons daughter
I am seeing a lot of this criticism too and it's like have you been to an ER in the last few years post-Covid? I had to go to the ER and do a 2 day inpatient stay in late 2022 during the tail end of the pandemic and barely anybody was wearing masks but me.
Also, it’s a tv show. They want to show the faces of the actors as much as they can. The only time not masking is an issue for me is in movies like The Amazing Spider-Man where he constantly takes off his mask. Haha
Most ER and clinical setting providers are not wearing masks unless they closely examining a patient with COVID/flu symptoms, or we are in the seasonal surge. I mean that is such a lame criticism. If the show was realistic it only be Robby and residents charting lol. Gotta have a show. I think they do a great job keeping the show interesting and being as accurate as they can considering its a TV drama.
It’s a dumb tweet and dumb complaint. I was just at a hospital and less than half the staff were wearing masks. Also they are actors and it’s a show. Shut up
