Right now I am wondering why Collins hasn't shown back up and am fearing the worst for the finale. I have suspected they were going to do a medical emergency with her since her miscarriage earlier in the season.
Eh, sure, but when she drilled into her ankle device we all knew there would be consequences. Wild how extra relevant this episode is at this moment. She’s taking a nap. I assume.
If this show has ER DNA having a cast member come into the ER with a critical emergency and be worked on by their coworkers is absolute peak ER, they did it many many times. It's literally how the pilot ends. It is the one ERism I have been expecting all season.
Yep, this show continues to be on fire. Gonna be real weird after next week when we don’t have a new episode to look forward to for a while. What even is 2025 without da pitt
Such a good episode, can't believe the season is almost over. And of course Whitaker was an undergrad theology major. What a scene with him and Robby.
I love that little part on this episode where they acknowledge the hospital janitorial staff. They're not just nameless faceless people in the background cleaning up. They contribute in a meaningful way.
If you’re referring to the shooter, yeah - having them be a random unnamed other person was a real “oh, this isn’t that kind of show” moment
Love that they’re still focusing on David though and didn’t just let that story go. His aggression and refusal to acknowledge the list is much for interesting (and terrifying obv) than if they were just like “damn okay our bad cancel the petition”
I like how they handled the measles thing too. Any other medical show did that plot they'd have the CDC in hazmat suits and the hospital in quarantine and made it a huge dramatic deal. This show it just gives you the correct science and says "well unfortunately this is just how stupid things are now"
