lol The Watch pod "Mr. Johnny Triage enjoying his iced Dunkachino and asking for Thanksgiving off" They also brought up the possibility of if the shows decides to throw a curve ball and the shooter ends up being Doug
one other reason I started watching is because Im interested in shows that acknowledge the impact of covid and the pandemic. I was making a show during lockdown from 2020-2021 that largely pretended it didn't exist and was wondering when the stuff I was going through then in the "real world" would be reflected in the fictional one. that is to say I find the PTSD and flashback stuff the most interesting part of the whole show and I hope they lean into it in the last few episodes
I am fairly certain within the next two episodes, Robby will have to choose between saving two people and they’ll show him losing it when he had to let Adamson off the ventilator. I think that’s what happened, right? We’ve already seen they’re running low on things, I think we’ll see the situation in this new context.
Literally was coming in to say this Wyle just gave a best actor in a drama performance if I ever saw one
So, do we believe David is in the clear? The lack of preview means they’re holding something back from us for a reason. Or they decided to wait to release it so we sit in the ending for a bit. I guess we shall see.
There is a preview for 1x14 on twitter. They just didn't show it after the episode. Kinda understand why. There is some spoilery stuff.
I honestly have no idea who the shooter is at this point. Will be interesting to see. Also, count this as yet another week if thinking “NO!” when it cut to the credits. I dont want it to end! What do people think about that one quiet lady in the wheelchair that seems like she’s in shock? Whats her deal?
What the 1x14 preview on Twitter/Reddit showed Looks like the chaos starts to calm down. Gloria thanks the team for saving so many lives. There is a patient who comes in with measles and Robby says they need to call the CDC. McKay is seen hugging her kid after her parents come to pick him up. An SUV speeds into the ambulance bay hitting a car and then SWAT surrounds it. A shot of David crying by the window of the locked room while his mom is other side. A shot of Dr. McKay getting arrested by the cops. Shocked patient finally speaks to ask how the ER docs can handle seeing so much carnage
All season long Noah Wyle has put on a Tour de France of acting performance. Tonight was no different. Just upped the ante a little.
Just got caught up with the Wife with the last three eps. Yeah give Noah the Emmy whoooooo boy. Don’t think it’s David. It’s probably a random, just seems too on the nose. The guy who was filming and santos dropped his phone….he looks just like the brother of the widow. The one who we first see passed away in the van. He seems sus. Or it’s a random. Mel saying to Whitaker “hey…..why’d you do that?” After he drilled into the Clown was great.
I agree the show does feel less grounded in reality now towards the end. Especially after watching what happens in the preview for the next episode. This is basically the most insane ER shift of all time. It doesn't affect how I enjoy the show though.
I’m mostly fine with them having the most insane ER shift of all time as long as season 2 isn’t the new most insane ER shift of all time
