Here's a rate picture of Suki and Bojack chilling. They don't not get along, but since Suki is blind, she often attacks his tail when he wags it as it's just noise and play to her. He's funny as he gets really hesitant when she's around and tries to do little 'quiet' wags so she doesn't pounce. But every now and again, they just chill peacefully together. Even when she pounces on his tail, he just moves away. Never worried he'd snap at her. (we gotta trim her nails a lot though)
Adorable. It truly amazes me what blind cats are capable of doing without sight. I had a neighbor who had a blind cat and a three legged golden retriever and it never seemed to be a big issue for them when I went to feed them while she was out of town Well, my friend was taking care of them, I just tagged along one day
Me too - she really does great. She's got a little basket on the counter and she hops up and sits in it and just chills while I do kitchen stuff and she somehow always finds a lap or stretched out leg to chill and cuddle on. We just have to keep things consistent (furniture wise) and deal with her being loud occasionally. When the dog goes out on a walk she howls searching for him. She's got a ton of 'crinkle' toys and she just bats and carries it around, following the sound and sometimes she loses those and gets frustrated but all minor stuff. Totally changed my opinion when I see disabled animals and worry about the qualify of life they could possibly have.
We have to put our rabbit down this morning. He is extremely loved and was well-taken care of -- he lived 12 and a half years! -- but it's still going to be a very difficult morning/weekend.
Does anyone else's cat not meow? This weirdo has two modes: a raspy sounding squawk most of the time, or yowling, usually when wanting food, or immediately after eating lol.
Crazy last 30 hours with this guy. He is always eating socks and underwear and has miraculously been able to get it out on his own for two years…not this time. Yesterday he started throwing up mass amounts of…what looked like and smelled like complete shit. My wife ended up taking him to emergency vet at 2:30 am where they didn’t really do much. We took him to our vet this AM to get an X-Ray and it revealed blockage. Had to go to emergency surgery. My vet didn’t have anyone who could stay overnight tonight so they had us take him back to the emergency vet for overnight monitoring. My wife is going to pick him up at 8 am and then she needs to take him back to our regular vet at 9 for further evaluation. Poor dude. (luckily, my wife got pet insurance for our two golden doodles so we will get reimbursed thousands of dollars)
