I’ve got insurance for my dog. It’s through nationwide. I lucked out with my old company offering it as a benefit and then I was able to keep it for essentially the same price after I left. It’s worked out well where I’ve either broken even or saved money with it each year. I’ve never had to fight them on a claim and they’ve even covered stuff they’ve listed as preexisting conditions. In the long run, I’m sure the insurance company will probably make more money off me. But it gives me peace of mind where if anything is wrong with my sweet baby boy I don’t really hesitate to bring him to the vet. It also takes a little unpredictability out of my budget.
