Dying laughing at my mom's cat

 

Oh this was my mom's other Maine coon the other day, too

 

This is my friend's cat Kevin. He's 1 years old and is the sweetest, coolest cat. He didn't give a fuck that there were 4 strangers over the other night; he just chilled with us the whole time. Really cool cat


Then of course, Midna being a drooly girl again purring on my chest when I woke up

 

Also hung around some doggos over the holiday. My aunt and uncle have two French bull dogs named Cleo and Leo. My cousin has a golden doodle named Hazel. That's my sister in both pics too who I haven't seen on a Thanksgiving since she moved to Colorado 12 years ago, so that was sick.

Not sure I've ever been around so many pets over a three day period haha. Solid times.

Spent ten days away from Claude and it feels very good to be back home with him.

 

This dumbass ate ribbon (she’s ok) but it’s hard to be mad at her when she’s this cute

 

Ugh my little dumbass loves to eat stuff she shouldn't, too lol. Especially plastic bags or packaging of any kind. And virtually any food you could imagine

 

She’s super quick about it too, leave something like ribbon/thin plastic/tape out of eyesight for a few seconds and she’s on it. Currently has some red ribbon hanging out of her butt so at least she’s passing it lol. Our other cat is better about eating things but he has a penchant for chewing on cables.

 

Moved in with my gf and so far her dog and my cat are getting along great

Does anyone have pet insurance? I have two cats that are over 10 years old now and I'm considering it. My friend just had an emergency with her dog because he ate some pills in the trash, and her overnight vet bill was ginormous. Now I'm scared in case my cats ever have an emergency.

 

I don't but I really should

 

We have also been looking into it after our cat's urinary blockage.

 

Stayed in bed for a good hour and a half this morning because of this one in my lap

 

Both my parents cats died very suddenly not too long after eachother and it was a complete mystery as to why. While I was over there on Christmas I think I figured out it was the Rachel Ray catfood they were feeding them. It has been recalled in the past for having way too much Vitamin D and killing cats with vitamin overloads.

 

Fuck man, I am so sorry to hear that. Very similar thing happened to my ex's old cat when she was a kid.. ended up being a cat food recall. Awful stuff.
