And because I'm sure none of you have ever seen a Frenchie mixed with a Scottie before, here's our main man Moose. RIP Moose, you were a terror and we miss you.
I hate myself for getting roped into internet arguments but theres nothing that grinds my gears and trolls me than anti-pittie people. It makes me sad how often people jump to the 'pitbulls bite more than any breed" stat but never want to acknowledge they're old the common breed for backyard breeding, fighting and uses/dumped. Shelters are filled with pitbulls (which is just a branding since most of them are just breed mixes)... where do you think they’re coming from? Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh
No one is saying they're easy or a walk in the park (you can say that about literally any breed). No doubt there are some pitbulls in shelters that been through the ringer and should only be saved by experts.... but there are literally a bajillion that are young and with the smallest of work will be the best dog you ever have.
The only pit I’ve ever really been around is my best friend’s that they’ve had since she was a puppy, and she’s about 9 now. She’s the chillest dog I’ve ever met. Here’s his 3 year old sitting on her
Yeah I’ve encountered way nastier little dogs. It’s mostly on the owner and how the dog was raised/trained.
As much as people on Reddit don't want to admit it, there is an undeniable racial component to the anti-pitbull discourse. Anyway, my girlfriend and I have been considering getting a bunny for the past several months. The plan is to bunny-proof our apartment so when we ask our landlord for permission to break the no pet policy, we can show him that we plan to take it seriously.
Can you elaborate on the racial component? Not a bad faith question, I just don't own dogs and have never heard that brought up. Also, we have two rabbits, so if you have questions or need any tips, please feel free to ask!
