holy shit! Like... November 1st of THIS year? That’s crazy growth in a month. Is he gonna get bigger yet? (fucking adorable pup by the way )
My mom moved in recently.. I found out she has been feeding the cats an extra can of wet food while I'm at work.. now I know why Felix is getting chunky lmao
Of this year! Every time I blink he gets bigger. He's too cute right now, it's hard to get anything done haha.
My best friend adopted her last year when she was 18, they said she would live 2-3 months, 16 months later and she's still living her best life
do y’all have pet insurance if your beloved pets? I’m currently on the market and I’m leaning with going through pets plan as it seems they cover all spectrums except for regular checkups and routine dental. seems to have a higher monthly payment, but my cat is a Persian and is gonna be 9 next year, they tend to get health issues as they get older. If anyone else has opinions I’d be glad to hear them!
My girlfriends cat is around 10 and she has had insurance for her for a few years. I guess a few years ago she had a hair all in her intestine that no one diagnosed, they thought it was a tumor and so the started to treat it that way and it ended up being a $2000 hairball, essentially. So she’s had insurance ever since and the couple times we’ve had to take Callie to the vet it’s been like $30-50 at most. Well worth it, imo.
Honestly I always heard that it was a scam that once you tried to use it most things weren’t covered but that was a long time ago so maybe it’s better now. I would just say do lots of research into the company before you do it!!
I got it for my puppy. It’s about $34 per month. Currently using Healthy Paws. They’re pretty quick with filing claims and he’s had a lot of random issues so the responsiveness has been nice. Though it’s true that there’s a lot they and most insurers don’t cover. My one piece of advice would be to watch out for the waiting period. I didn’t pay close enough attention to it and took him to the vet one day before it was over for a digestive issue, so now his anti-biotics for that aren’t covered. Kicking myself for that one.
We use Banfield and pay about $40 a month for it. Covers teeth cleaning, discount meds, xrays, etc. she got the most comprehensive and it’s been worth it. You can also upgrade on the spot if you get a lower insurance and need a better coverage in the moment.
I’ll look into this! I also am debating getting pets best too, I want to look over the reimbursement and deductible to see how they both compare. Thanks mike!
My Minature Cockapoo 1 1/2 months apart. Was worried she was going to stay tiny forever. (Still very small but what a difference in 5 weeks!)
