I want a Shiba Inu but I don't want to sign up for the inevitable heart break that comes a decade later. And to balance this post out, I'll post this again because it makes me happy.
We really would like to get a puppy but I'm not sure how it'll work out with housebreaking when we both work. It seems kinda unfair to the pup, but my apartment allows them and I want one sooooo badly. I'm always browsing petfinder
Had to say goodbye to my little girl yesterday. Having a rough time today. I've lost one dog before but this is hitting harder than I rememeber. Sorry guys, not trying to be a bummer! We had a really lovely last day together and this is one of the pictures from it.
^ pugs are the best. I'm sorry for your loss, im glad you guys had a nice last day though, that's so wonderful
Thank you! Btw I just read your post from last month, and I'm very sorry for your loss. I lost a dog earlier this year and it really is heartbreaking.
Does anyone here have the pet microchipped? One of my dogs is and I guess HomeAgain only lets you have access to their service for free for a year. After reading their letter it seems that there are premium features that they want to pay for but your dog's information is still stored in the database so if he is ever lost and found when they scan him it will still appear in their database. Is there any real benefit to paying the $20/year or is it just trying to make me pay for services I don't need?
I did some digging for it awhile ago when I asked. It's more or less a ripoff. You can still update your account and your pet will never leave the database if you don't pay. They just claim it has benefits of alerting local shelters/vets and sending an email out to people registered in your area. From people's reviews they said they found that it doesn't generally happen or not that fast.
Bought me and my fiancé a corgi puppy. We will get her next week, and I'll post better pics then. But here's a few the breeder took.
My cat don't give a damn. Screw your dinner table. Throwback to her being a kitten 5 years ago (excuse it being small lol)
I think I'm ready for a pup but do NOT want to house train a dog in the dead of winter.. especially since we have to walk a bit to even get into any grass... maybe April. I just want a little puppy friend to love and hang out with ;(
