The two in the top pic were unfortunately declawed when I got them, but Kink limits his scratching almost exclusively to the scratching post on the cat house. He's an angry cat but oddly considerate of furniture. :/
Some guy ordered one once and I had to hand it over to finish the transaction. I judged him harshly and probably accurately for it. Actually, wait, it was just a shock collar to keep the dog from barking. You know what, no, screw any kind of shock therapy for animals.
Had to put one of my pups down this morning. Spent the entire night up with her and this morning, my mom went with me to set her free. Freaking bummer of a day. Thankfully, a little piece of her lives on. She had pups when I took her in as a stray nearly a decade ago and they all went to friends and family members. I kept one myself. Going to take him for a walk now and think of all our great times together.
Man, really sorry to hear that. I had to do the same a few months ago, it really is a heartbreaking thing to have to do.
I'm so glad I found this thread! Gray cat is Tinkerbell and the big guy is Oscar. View attachment 1579
Family dog, a collie who was almost 15 was ran over accidentally and passed a few days ago. My girlfriend's family dog who she had since she was 11 just passed at home an hour ago. Can animals just stay pups forever please? Thanks. My dog is 13 and doing okay, just..enjoy your pets every day guys.
I love my dog, and with 2 newborns I'm trying really hard not to neglect him and make sure he still gets some love and attention, although certainly not as much as before. He was really happy over the weekend because our friends a few blocks away got a 2.5 month old puppy and he got to go there and play/wrestle for 3 hours straight.
I changed my wallpaper from my family's late puppy to something else. It's been over 2 months. Forgetting someone I loved, be it a pet or a person, scares the hell out of me.
it's been 1000 years since i posted but here are some updated picture of Alex Hashbrown now that he is happy, healthy, dewormed, and not a disgusting trash rat:
I have more conversations with my black lab, Willy, than actual people. I still think he'll talk back one of these days...
my mom is currently watching him for a couple months before i move, and she sent this to me earlier this month for my birthday. haha
