Enjoyed the first episode. But man, it looks sooo cheap compared to The Batman. Which, I mean, it totally makes sense given tv vs movie. But damn I can’t stop noticing it.
It's a good movie as it is, and will help you understand the vibe of this universe's Gotham. I'd recommend watching it. Plus, emo Batman. C'mon.
Small issue: I don’t remember his “waddle” in the Batman, beyond the early morning interrogation scene. Was that really a thing? I like how they’re doing it here, to be clear, I just didn’t recall it being shown so much.
I feel like I definitely remember it. At the very least I remember Falcone calling him a gimp or a cripple at the climax right before the Riddler shot

Can't lie. Victor feels significantly out of place, even for an audience surrogate. He feels like he's from a completely different city. That being said, he reminds me a bit of a henchman Penguin had in the comics during No Man's Land, Garrett. They're very different but they both seem to serve the same role and have the same desire to be useful.
Really digging this so far. The scene with the mother with dementia really hit, since it's pretty much the same as a time my grandmother was out walking in the winter without a coat. No bribe money though.
Have not seen Scott Cohen in a single thing besides Gilmore Girls so it was jarring seeing him play Luca
