The Patient (FX)

Has anyone watched the first three episodes of this show yet? It’s on FX/Hulu. It’s pretty cool so far and both Steve Carrell and Domhnall Gleason are unbelievable in it.

 

I was gonna wait until the entire season was available to start watching.

 

It’s definitely a binge show. I wish I hadn’t started it haha but my friends are watching and I didn’t want to be behind.

 

Yeah I'm enjoying it a lot but the episodes go by so quickly and I wish I could just keep going.

Watched first episode, worth continuing? Couldn't decide if I liked it since it was so short.

 

It gets really interesting, very quickly. You should continue at least through episode three.

 

This is getting better and better each week

 

Last night's episode... hoo boy.

 

The holocaust imagery is a little much and I don't really get it but damn this got heavy and is certainly very good. Hulu/FX is really killing it this year. And a really good joke non-Jews might not get from this episode - when he asks Steve Carrell if he can listen to him say the kaddish, Steve Carrell replies, "It's private". Mourner's Kaddish is not supposed to be private at all

It'll definitely be a memorable miniseries (I assume, I can't imagine there's a 2nd season in this). I also have no idea how many episodes this is, so I'm taking this opportunity to try and avoid finding out

 

Want to start this at some point soon.

 

Just finished it. Not gonna say anything since it's been out for less than a day, but I'm looking forward to some reactions.

 

Pretty satisfied with how they ended it

Liked the end. Feel like it was the only “realistic” conclusion
