I know it’s my favorite part! he told me not to send it because he thought they would shut his project down lol also I made sure to send it to the NA customer support not Denmark
our daughter is allergic to peanuts but we haven't tested her in years. We took her back to the allergist to re-test her. She went from like a 1.4 on the scale to over 8. She is now SUPER allergic. We've never had a scare before, thankfully. Unfortunately my dream of Reese's for breakfast will have to wait until she moves out.
My partner has some sort of norovirus so she is out the game past few days. I’ve been working from home and getting parents and in-laws to help which has been a bit of a life saver. cant help but feel im going into battle this weekend
It was pretty gnarly with my first but she was at least like 2.5. Less intense with the baby boy but he’s 4.5 months so more annoying lol
Baseball started yesterday and both kids are playing now. Plus my wife is assistant coaching on both teams. Opening day and pictures and two games yesterday. Was a lot
how early did everyone's kids lose their first tooth? Our daughter just turned 4 and she already has a loose tooth! Hers came in pretty early so it makes sense but I thought we had a few more years at the most. She was crying because she was scared and 'didn't want to swallow the tooth in her sleep' and was sad because she can't eat strawberries anymore
Confirmed with the dentist. My 10.5 year old is orthodontically advanced. Has the teeth/mouth of a 12 year old
Crazy wind outside freaking out the little dude. Feel bad for him but also it’s 2:12am fuck off wind!
Yeah, ours woke up a couple of times in the past few nights afraid of the thunder and wind. Good excuse to snooze with the little dude again, though.
My kid's were out of school and daycare yesterday because of the inclement weather on the east coast, but we didn't see anything rough at all where I was at. I was kinda pissed because I had to take a PTO day because my wife had to work, and we couldn't find alternate childcare, but it was good to spend some time with my boys.
Anybody here having their kids do spring sports? My oldest has got his first soccer game on Saturday, and I'm some combination of terrified/excited/impressed by what I've seen so far from him and his team...plus it makes me appreciate all the shit my parents went through trying to get from place to place before I could drive. That part is exhausting.
It’s crazy hearing about how bad the east coast is cuz it’s so hot already in Cali. Global Warming in full effect!
My daughter did cheer in fall which wasn’t too bad.. but she starts up softball in a few weeks. I’m trying to get into the swing of things now before my twins are born. I have an irrational fear of her feeling like an afterthought. I hear you.. I was just talking to my best friend about our parents constantly taking us to skateparks and band practices (which I could tell my dad didn’t love)… but damn did they ever get it done. Even with my brother who has special needs. I feel like I should have zero excuse when it comes to balancing this stuff.
Both of our boys are doing baseball and yeah it’s been super stressful trying to coordinate and get to everything.
My son is going on year 4 of playing travel for baseball, basketball and soccer so we’re basically 4-5 nights a week year-round with him between those three sports which all overlap throughout the year. It’s a fucking mess tbh and youth sports are completely out of control these days. My daughter does dance twice a week and for the past two summers and falls she played softball but this year she doesn’t want to continue with softball even though she is a really good hitter (scared shitless in the infield tho, haha). She also tried cheer one fall, and she liked it, but she said she just wants to dance. For some reason she’s been talking about tennis a lot lately so for Easter we are getting her a tennis racket. She may eventually try volleyball too.
My wife and I don't watch sports at all, so far my 3 year old hates sports. I'm happy for that to last a while haha
Did anyone else's kids have nights when they were teething where they would wake up in the middle of the night and just not go back to bed for like 3 hours? My 18 month old did that last night, up from midnight to like 3, just refusing to go back to bed.
