My parenting advice for Disney World is to not go to Disney World.

  2. I enjoyed going as an uncle and look forward to going as a Dad - especially if I get to take my mom with us, who has never gone

Jealous…the one in Orlando got bulldozed and replaced with Diagon Alley/Wizarding World of Harry Potter lol

Sadly im not a huge Potter head and my 6 year old has shown some passing interest in the movies when they’ve been on TV but hasn’t really gotten into them

  6. My Disney advice is get as many lightning lanes as you can

I never had very strong feelings about the time change until I had an infant. It’s incredible how much a one hour change can upend your life when your baby is a sensitive sleeper lol

If you had pets, how did they react to the baby?

Our cat simply tolerates our almost 2yo and that’s probably as far as it will go lol. She is shockingly patient with him though considering he’s always been super interested in her. I’m quick to intervene if he comes in too hot or grabs her tail but still surprised she hasn’t taken a swipe at certain points

  10. Yeah, my cats are interested but keep their distance. They love to come around if he's sleeping lol. They definitely get stressed out when he's screaming.

My cat came from a family member with two young children when she was a kitten. So I used to call our house a spa retreat compared to there.

She has been curious but mostly keeps herself to herself. My partner and her were inseparable and I think the cats nose is a bit out of joint. Tbh , i do feel bad. She even now comes to me for pats. She never did them that before. Will often take herself away if he’s crying or if family are round to visit.

I ended up buying a ridiculously expensive cat tree as she’s a large main coon as I felt guilty. She loves it and I’ve put it in our living room so she’s well involved with everything.

I would say she loves to jump in his pram and Moses basket when he’s not in it, which does my head in.
