so what's the longest everyone's kids have gone without pooping? we are working on potty training and this girl has been holding it for 72+ hours. It's making her the Most Cranky Toddler ever. We might have to break out the suppositories tomorrow
You already done prune juice? Any of the "P" juices really. My daugher went ~48hrs once, and prune juice took care of that.
My nephew goes a week sometimes. He's 8 and still has anxiety over it. My brother has had to use suppositories before. It's brutal. I'd try fruit juices
We have the butt-horns you can use on gassy newborns and my MIL referred to to them yesterday as "those butt-plug things"
We did prune juice and those constipation drops. Suppositories was the last resort but she finally went this morning. Obviously holding it for that long (100ish hours) was concerning but what was more annoying was that the first two days, she went on her own without us in the room perfectly fine with no fuss. And then day 3 she was back to being scared again. Kids are weird
My son didn’t poop for like four or five days once he started eating primarily solids and I had to coach multiple dukes out of him like I was coaching him through labor. It made us closer I think And yes, shoutout to the Frida windi. Meant for farts but got the rest of the process moving whenever necessary
Frida products in general have saved my kids anguish so many times between the Windi and the NoseFrida. I never knew I'd be physically sucking boogers out of a kid before becoming a parent, but that happened.
Well as someone who had never gotten a stomach bug/flu when I was younger I’ve gotten it 3 times this year! Oldest stayed home from school yesterday and couldn’t keep anything down. Now I’m the same way since morning. Luckily he’s 100% but I’m still….struggling solids wise. Ugh
My wife came in earlier cuz I had the most violent vomiting episode possibly ever. Just very guttural
Currently awake in my daughter’s room because she keeps coughing herself awake. I can either have her come in my room and never sleep or just stay in here with her and not sleep. Going to be tough Monday.
5 months old as of yesterday. We suspect she is starting teething but we will probably know for sure in a few days. She is fully engaged in her pterodactyl phase the past few weeks. There were a few days when I had headaches and just couldn't be near her.
