We’re only doing two days a week to start and Milo is a bit older than most kids just starting so the hope is we come through a little less than full plague
found a couple “you’re my” books. didn’t manage to track any “trucks go” books. we have “press here” though which i guess is by the same person. thanks for the recommendations @phaynes12 / @JordanTheGirl420420
Saw Dogman last night. My son has like 30 of the books. I fell asleep (obviously) but my kids loved it.
Brendan got more into Captain Underpants than Dogman but we have a few of those books. He has no interest in seeing the movie haha
My kids love the Dog Man books and enjoyed the movie. Kept seeing reviews criticizing the narrative focusing more on Petey the Cat than Dog Man and it’s like…yeah, that’s kind of exactly how the books are too because Dog Man can’t talk and the entire series is a covert treatise on generational trauma with some genuinely heartbreaking moments between Petey and “Lil Petey” that I was very happy to see represented in the big screen adaptation lol.
Until the previews for the movie, I never knew that the premise for Dogman was dogs head on human body. Pretty graphic lol
Not a full week but my kids are off school tomorrow and were out Friday so 3 out of 4 went to my in laws. Wife and I are cleaning the garage while they’re gone
Don’t know why I still can’t embed photos but my 2yo turned 3 today! We took him to Chuck E. Cheese with some of his friends and it was cool. It’s absolutely crazy to me he’s 3. Time please fucking stop
I took the week off so this week we have planned a couple museum days, today looks to be a good day for a tobogganing, and I told Brendan he has to clean his room this week at any point lol. Otherwise should be a lowkey week for the two of us!
At Disney on Ice with the whole fam and the cousins. Kids are gonna have a blast. My company is very reasonable and gave us their whole loft.
Our little dude is getting fussier and wanting to eat more often than the every three hours schedule we've had him on (he's still coming back up to his birth weight). I knew we couldn't get off as easy as we were forever
