I’m so sorry. We had a miscarriage in the third trimester a while back right after telling everyone and it was a miserable experience and it’s something we still think about often. Everyone processes it differently so however y’all grieve and think about it I’m sure is healthy but feel free to reach out if you ever need to talk about it. I imagine it’ll take time to be in that place but know we are thinking of y’all.

I’m so sorry guys. If you need anything or need to vent just reach out. Don’t blame yourselves for talking about it too early.

now I’m just praying our 11 day old son doesn’t get it

Me and my son were completely out of commission yesterday. Was spending most of Xmas eve in the kitchen sink cuz I couldn’t make it to the bathroom

Ugh everyone has been sick with some sinus thing that won’t go away but we haven’t gotten the stomach bug yet. I hate knowing that we all will though because it’s always inevitable when it’s going around

Stomach bug fucking sucks, it always gets me when my kid gets it, but never my wife haha. At least it's usually quick but it's always rough

yeah from about 8 AM yesterday to now I’ve been basically bedridden except when I’ve been in the bathroom letting it out one end or the other. Barely able to keep any water down yesterday, and a half a saltine. Over night I was able to drink some more water and I just ate a banana, my first real food in like 36 hours. Guess we’ll see how it goes

We’ve been dealing with Flu for a week straight. 4/6 of us got it. Thankfully it didn’t really affect our stomach and we were mostly through it by yesterday.

Son had a stomach bug starting Saturday, wife didn’t catch it until Sunday but felt better by the time we were getting ready to leave for the airport on Monday after I was up all night packing for the three of us. Then I started purging my soul out three hours before the flight and we had to push it til Tuesday lmao. Still not feeling great and he still can’t keep much down, worried about him

moved across country about 6 months ago and just went back home with our 3yo and 1yo for a late holiday trip to see grandparents and cousins. our kids have travelled a lot in their young lives but for some reason the jet lag is kicking our asses this time around. s/o to any other parents up at 3am with kids that think it’s morning.

  15. You’ve barely even decided to have a kid and suddenly they say shit to you like “can you go get me some more from Target?”

My 5 year old has the flu. Been sick for 6 days. His b-day party is in 3 days. Today is the first day that he was able to, ya know, get out of bed and go downstairs to play with some toys before I left for work. Hoping this means he's on the mend and we can continue on with the party on Saturday.

y'all potty training is killing us. Our 3 year old is just not pooping on the potty. She can pee just fine and never has accidents while out, she's totally out of the diaper except for during nap times and overnight. She just saves up her poop for her diapers at night and then we have to go in and change her an essentially do a 'second' bedtime every night. I know we need to totally take away the diaper but any tricks for potty training would be much appreciated lol

probably not helpful at all, but we resorted to full-on bribery. our daughter is obsessed with dolls, so every time she pooped on the potty we gave her money (loonies and toonies in canada) to put in her piggy bank so she could buy dolls. despite a very rudimentary understanding of money, for some reason this was the ticket.

We’re on the same trajectory, thought we were in the clear after the stomach bug cleaned us all out but alas here we are!
