Fun: 14-month old catching Covid Double extra fun: Catching Covid from our 14-month old, who is now recovered and a ball of infinite energy while my wife and I are wiped out.
That’s brutal and been there. Hope you all are better soon! We had a similar thing happen with the stomach flu where my wife and I got it after both kids and it was pretty impossible.
We went on that ride last month, would not recommend. Our son had a solid month with no colds but this past week he had a pretty bad sinus cold. Thankfully he learned on his own how to blow his nose halfway through, which made things way easier for all of us. He would just say “boogies” at night and I would grab the tissue and we could all go back to sleep, rather than breaking out the saline and snot sucker
We switched our 2 year to one about a month ago and he did well…until his older brother(who sleeps in the room with him) got back from his grandparents
We'll have to move our now 2 m/o in the same room with our 3.5 y/o in a few months. I'm not sure how it will go. We live in a 2 bedroom so the baby can't stay in the bassinet in our room much longer. My oldest is a decent sleeper at this point, but I'm not sure she can sleep through the younger's inevitable sleep regressions lol
trying to understand my toddler: browsing Disney+ and he says he wants to watch Luca. Turned it on & he exclaims “no I want other Luca”What the fuck is other Luca I think to myself & turned on Bluey I bring it up to my wife & she tells me that other Luca is Coco lmao
Lately my 2 year old has been saying her foot is 'tickly.' Sometimes she's crying when it happens but not always. I'm not sure if that's what she calls it when it falls asleep or it's just growing pains or something. Thinking the former
22-month old starts in his cot for a few hours, then screams and cries at about midnight, 1am-ish to come in with us. We're doing the hard thing and keeping with the sleep training but it bloody sucks. He won't budge until he cries himself to the point of tiredness where he just conks out. He eventually settles in his own bed but it's a fight that lasts anywhere from 20 minutes to over an hour. Love the kid to death, but this age isn't without its challenges for sure.
