Also the subtle hint of adult things like when the parents are hungover after new years or they were briefly talking about Stranger Things in a background conversation… so good
First time posting in this thread. Recent first time dad (Elias is 6 months old), and it's far and above the best thing that's ever happened to me. Every little thing is amazing and wonderful, and while I don't want to wish the time away, I can't wait until he's old enough to enjoy a movie/show/band/trip to the zoo with me. He's just starting rolling onto/from his back and his laugh/gummy smile is the best.
How real is the 18 month sleep regression? Our kid just started walking (took her dang time) and this perfectly sleep trained child is all of a sudden crying when we put her down and refused a nap yesterday for the first time in months.
We rode some rides at the Italian Festival tonight and it was one of those "god I love being a parent" moments seeing the happiness on his face and hearing his excited yells and screaming.
Got to watch the second episode with Jameson one day in between trips this week and that one was killing me. “Sting!”
Tonight is Friday, and every night my daughter and I stay up as late as possible, eating junk food and watching movies. It’s by far my favorite night of the week.
Anyone spending Father's Day....not with your family? I went to a coffee shop to write and then Half Price Books and Barnes & Noble lol
Not Father's Day in Australia until September, but wishing all of you who celebrate an amazing day. Dad life forever.
Kinda. My wife let me game alone when we weren’t doing family stuff. Rare I get to game in the middle of the day for long hours anymore @theagentcoma
