Ya I haven’t done well on that front. 2 kids and a one-car home plus my partner doesn’t drive. I did well for that long weekend after but that was about it. Will update if I hear anything else!
Heard back from the doctor. This far out I can take ibuprofen or motrin which is more effective for this type of tenderness than Tylenol. The soreness and swelling I’m feeling is totally normal. Recommended further “support” so ordered me one of these bad boys which a buddy swore by. https://a.co/4r4RZnb
Yeah, I think once wife and I iron out if we're going for third, I'll go in for mine. Ready to be "done" but not looking forward to it haha.
Yeah with my son just getting diagnosed with ADHD and needing medication, I'm kinda okay with a boy and a girl. Wife wants third. We'll probably have a third haha
How are everyone's Under 5's handling the covid vaccines? Ours got his first a couple weeks ago, we have the 2nd one in two weeks. I'm excited but also have let the antivax propo put a little bit of fear in me haha
My 2.5 yo son just had his second shot and is dealing with some fever and fatigue and general unpleasantness. It started about 24 hr after. No side effects from his first shot.
Wife went back to work so I’m taking my PFL time for two weeks. Third day of watching both kids by myself for the whole day and it’s going great. I’m so much more patient and better at this than when my wife went back to work after we had our first. I remember that first day being a struggle but it’s crazy how better of a parent you become with your second.
My 6 year old got both doses last year and had no side effects. Gonna get him his booster before school starts back. My 4 & 2.5 year old daughters we are planning to get their first within the next month as well, going for the best. My 4 year old I'm really not looking forward to because she's horrible when she's sick. Refuses to take anything to help her feel better to the point of throwing up if we even try Like she just started growing white fur all over her body? I've never heard of that being a side effect
So, our 8 month old who just figured out crawling within the last few weeks has decided to just start standing ASAP. My wife is now convinced he’ll be walking in like a month and I’m just sitting here thinking about how (happy and) tired I am. Got some serious baby proofing to do this weekend.
Ugh our 7 month old daughter has been coughing and congested for a few days. There's nothing worse than having your kid be sick and not being able to do much about it. She's miserable. Anyone have any tips for a sick little one?
Ugh yeah there are few things worse. For coughing honey would sometimes help, for congestion sometimes a warm bath right before bed and a humidifier in her room would help. Often times though it just sucked until she got better :(
My daughter recently had another stomach virus that lasted about 3 days. Truly miserable, I’ll spare you all the gory details
nose frida, while gross it does work wonders, and saline spray. and i think at that age you can do infant tylenol to help them sleep
