She is always on another level. So glad to have her back on TV every week. She should be in everything. Hey. I’m loving this. Fine with it being a slow burn and not having any idea where everything will end up despite having so many “facts” of what’s happening already. I’ll have to check out the book once it’s finished.
I’ll agree though, the series has been pretty great so far. But the whole mother scene just felt out of place and forced.
Don't think I’ve even heard of that but I’ll need to check it out, I’ll watch anything she does. Novitiate was one of my favorite more recent roles for her.
I think it was on The Sundance Channel a few years ago, but watch out, cuz it only made it one season before they pulled the plug. I got sucked right in too. I'll have to check out Novitiate.
another great episode. I keep wanting to call this prestige tv but it all depends on if they can stick the landing
Never read the book, so have no idea how it plays out with his character, but I've had a weird feeling about the Dayton officer who is in love with Holly this entire time. I think I'm in the minority.
it’s bc that actors past roles, i think. i kinda had feeling too a bit but his character, as shown on the actual show itself, is pretty pure
Good ep. The car ride scene with Holly and Ralph makes me wish there were some more 1-on-1 scenes with them. I like the way they play off each other.
I'm surprised to hear so much praise. I was pretty into the first few episodes but feel like the past 2 or 3 episodes have really really dragged. Normaly acting and character work can make it okay but I don't find these characters too compelling. I like Batemans wife and that Spanish cop guy but other than that.
