Based on the best selling novel by Stephen King. 10 episode series. Can Someone really be in two places at once?

If they write a better ending, could be cool.

The book is next on my list after I finish The Stand.

I've never read any Stephen King. This looks cool though. I could probably listen to the audiobook before the series comes out. Should I download this or pick something else?

I cannot recommend this book enough. It's great, ending is so so but the rest of the book is amazing.

As always, I recommend the Dark Tower series by him.

Loved the book, read it in two weeks which is amazing for me given teaching and grad school. This was gripping from start to end, can't wait to see Ben Mendelsohn and Cynthia Erivo in these roles.

Anyone watching tonight? The reviews for this have kind of been all over the place. Really tempered my expectations.

The sidewalks are watching me think about you.

I've seen the first six episodes and I've enjoyed them. It's kind of like True Detective season 1 if True Detective season 1 embraced all the crazy shit that was only implied.

Definitely watching. King is my favorite author and I enjoyed the book. His adaptations can be real hit or miss though so I always go into his adaptations with a healthy amount of skepticism.

I'm looking forward to Mendelsohn finally getting to play the good guy. Oh and loved the book, ending included.

  19. I’m finishing up the book tonight so I’ll definitely watch at some point this week. I don’t think the book is particularly great (although I still have about 100 pages left), but I’m pretty excited about the writers and cast for the show.

  20. Just found out there are two episodes premiering tonight, in case anyone else didn't know.

Really enjoyed the first two episodes. I’ve really missed Mendelsohn as it’s been a while since I’ve seen him in anything.

I know nothing about the book but I have a feeling this may get way too weird/supernatural for my liking.

But definitely looking forward to next week.

That Bateman scene where he’s talking to Mendelsohn about teaching his son to bunt was absolutely fantastic.

  24. Digging this so far. I'm into the mystery.

He wrenches on it. He thinks it's his.

I was lukewarm on the book but still excited for this adaptation.
