Hmmm the fantastical elements this season aren’t really working for me, I get that this show has always done industry related jokes but all these absurdist vampire teeth/GQ spies/invisible people/fake publicist bits have been a turn that I don’t think it needed

 

I think I’d agree with that but I’m giving it a chance

 

I didn't mind the vampire teeth or GQ spies because those just seemed like absurdist humor a little, but yeah the ghost stuff was a little too much

The method acting boyfriend is hilarious though

 

The method actor bf is super funny yeah, that feels much more in line with what I’ve come to expect with the show

Loving the increase in Curtis plot too. The Survivor watch party bit is incredible

 

Also agree this episode might’ve pushed things a bit far, but still a lot of laughs.

also irrationally furious that there was only one episode. 2 episodes a week is a perfect system. One episode a week I should fucking headbutt a speeding bus

 

Still a lot of laughs but the last two episodes have pushed the fantasy elements too far. Cary’s storyline was kind of a slog honestly. Hope it dials it back, because the first two episodes were incredible

 

The little faces Brooke makes in the opening scene each time she modifies her IG profile are killing me lmao

 

Yeah there were some good gags with the Cary stuff but jeez this episode was way too much

Fantastic episode. I was worried after the last two but god damn this was a home run. Also I love Lance. He might be the only person I have ever liked.

edit: okay yeah this episode might’ve been my favorite of the season. Everything with Brooke was so, so funny. The billionaires were incredible
