Sucks the show is ending without character redemption but sucks more to the behind the scene stuff

 

Unpopular opinion but its probably for the best

 

Yeah this season has definitely been more miss than hit

 

I don’t understand how they were “cleared of wrongdoing” when the article is still written like it’s an open secret that they’re abusive?

 

Really bummed, thought every season has been great so I just hope the ending lands. The toxic writer’s room stuff sucks to learn about, they were probably shitty but not enough for any action to be taken. Yeesh.

 

I’m pretty sure they had said in the past that they only had planned for 3 seasons, so it’s not a total surprise but definitely a bummer. I would say this season has been mostly brilliant.

finale was really good. Gonna miss this show a ton

 

Yeah finale was good but at the same time ending with that Carey story was a little odd because it felt like it didn't really say anything? I don't know, it was well done but it didn't feel like a conclusion.


They definitely left it open for a fourth season

 

I didn’t know that last episode was the finale when I watched it and unfortunately now that I know it feels underwhelming. The first two seasons of this show are unmatched. This season sort of felt like I didn’t like it very much in hindsight.

 

My enjoyment of all three seasons are the same. Each had their own identity and highlights. I was concerned learning this would be the final episode, but it shocked how much I loved it and the direction it the took the characters. Brooke’s part made me tear up several times.

Good finale, gonna miss this show. Does feel like they could have had more of a send off for some of the characters.

Cary finding peace, learning to be a person and making friends again does feel like a good place to leave it. Lance and Curtis are real angels.

 

Definitely felt like a finale to me. Good stuff. Agreed it’s for the best it’s over.

 

This season was easily my least favorite but still good. Sad it’s over. Give me the Lance spin-off please.

 

Really loved the finale, felt like this would’ve been the end regardless. Definitely going to miss the show

 

Watching the fantastical stuff fade out of both plots as each of them came back down to earth made this whole season make a lot more sense to me. Even that aside, this was a fucking perfect finale. Blown away they wrote an ending this good and “this is the final season” wasn’t the narrative the whole time. Will miss this show dearly

I rewatched the third season this week, the absurdity/“magical” elements aren’t as off putting as I remember. Cary’s storyline shooting on Emily Overruled is still bad, but I really loved everything else.

Lance and Curtis are the best and deserve better

 

It ends very well.
