‘The Orville’: Charlize Theron Confirmed To Guest Star In Seth MacFarlane’s Fox Series

 

Been waiting since the end of Enterprise for Star Trek to return to TV - and we finally have Discovery - but I find myself more excited about Orville haha.

I mean it could very well end up with Discovery being a hit and Fox canceling Orville - but there is part of me that really wishes CBS had given Macfarlane a chance at helming Star Trek.

Decided to give this a go. The third episode is fantastic. Such a great take on a Star Trek episode. Really starting to be on board with this show.

 

Awesome to hear it's renewed, this might be my favorite new show of the season. Completely baffled by the poor reviews. Is it MacFarlane bias? It's really nothing like anything else he's ever done

This show is actually pretty good. The latest episode was a bit awkward, but this season has been mostly solid.

 

I actually love this show and I'm pretty surprised barely anyone else on this site really cares seemingly. I actively look forward to every new episode

 

This show just took a dark turn.

 

Yeah that episode was genuinely really intense... I'm sure Isaac will turn good and save the day but I almost kind of hope he stays evil, the whole storyline with the doctor being in love with him and getting mad when he acts like the robot he is is really annoying

 

Agreed. I was hoping the twist was the secret in the caves was that the Krill or whatever created the robots and they were harvesting bodies from each race to study them and create biological weapons to kill everyone but their ending was pretty cool too.

Yeah, there were a few duds, but a big improvement for the most part. I just wish they would stop shoving Ed and Kelly's relationship into everything. Also the finale was the most uninteresting episode especially after such a great end to the episode before it.
