Not sold on this, but I'll probably watch just for Theron.

 

I loved the first trade of the book but don't know how interested I am in an adaptation

Yeah gonna try to watch this - Peter travers have it a 4/5 star review and I align with him pretty well

 

I would watch a hundred of these things.

That part was so good.

 

Definitely has its issues (music, some dialogue, etc), but found myself enjoying quite a few elements.

 

I wish the ending had jumped forward like fifty or seventy-five years before introducing Quynh. Would be cool to see their idea of the end of the century, esp. if they incorporate things like climate change into it.
I really enjoyed this but would be MUCH more interested in where it goes from here.

 

This movie just reinforces my belief that nothing is more terrifying than the idea of living forever

 

The idea of living forever is definitely terrifying. The idea of living for, like, 500 years, like Only Lovers Left Alive or something, is very appealing to me.

 

Yeah, some music choices were odd and distracting.

 

This was fine. I agree that I’m more interested in what could possibly come next.

the cast is so hot it seems almost unfair, I like how Gina made this more humane and I guess woke would be the word with how it was critical of the CIA the military and the healthcare industry

I like how it's basically the Kingsman

 

This movie was a little too predictable for my liking. Even when it diverged from the book, it was pretty easy to see what would happen. The stinger had no sting.

 

It was a solid at home action movie. Though I’m also not familiar with the source material. My biggest complaint is they sampled Frank Ocean just for 2 seconds!

 

Yeah this rules and give me like 3 more of them. It’s a shame that Marvel/DC has conditioned me to expect someone returning from the dead in a post credit teaser, cause yeah...
