    Wow. They’re really going heavy with the live vocal processing. I get that he’s getting older and can’t really do it anymore (not that I thought he really ever could.. they were just a lot of fun to see live..) but man.. that’s rough..

    I've been seeing The Offspring live since 1997 and he was straining THEN on many songs. Can't imagine what it must be like now.

    Dexter writes unbelievably high vocal parts, it’s wild that he’s been able to nail them as much as he has in the past! Like The Kids Aren’t Alright is written in Bb when A would’ve made it easier to sing and play on guitar. Reminds me of the songs on Home Like Noplace Is There by The Hotelier, like they’re written to be sung as high as possible for dramatic effect
