I applaud him for wanting to evolve, and better his understanding of groups he doesn't relate to. That's what politics should be all about, as opposed to how he's portrayed himself in the past. Hope it's coming from a genuine place...

Sounds like another themed learning/living community. I lived in a learning community and worked in one as an RA when I was in college. What's the issue?

 

Is it merely looking to accommodate persons of color along with white persons who actively want to live in diverse dormitory environments, or is strictly for people of color? Or is it strictly for black persons?

The two articles I've read seem to say it's the latter-most. Does this set precedent for the Hispanic Student Association to demand a community separate of either alternative?
