Dang, that's cool. I don't go back to Price's records much at all, but I feel like I'll enjoy her more as part of a group.
I didn't know Mandolin Orange had announced a new album. All 3 singles I just heard are fucking excellent.
The Delines released a great new country soul album today. Willy Vlautin of Richmond Fontaine is the lead song writer. Their last album is one of my favorites of the decade and this one is sounding great so far too.

Just realized that’s Courtney Marie Andrews doing the guest vocals on this song. Guess she does a lot of backup vocals on other tracks from this album too. Cool.
I usually write indie/alternative rock, but I guess a lot of the more country/americana stuff has been rubbing off on my writing
New Sean McConnell is out today. From the pre-release singles I'm pretty excited to hear the full thing. I said this in the release thread, but I think fans of Steve Moakler and Donovan Woods would enjoy this.
Yeah, I'm definitely enjoying this one. I don't think it's as accessible as his self-titled, but it feels more personal. Thought I saw somewhere that he played a lot of the instruments or mixed it himself, and it definitely doesn't feel as polished. There are a few recording things I'm not a huge fan of (for some reason the guitar effect in the first track drives me bonkers), but I can't say no to his voice.
Is it a hot take to say that Emmylou Harris' Spyboy miiiiight be the best live record ever made? Because I listen to it about once a year and every time I do I kinda think that it is. Certainly top five for me at least
I'm listening to the new Ryan Bingham album right now because Brian Fallon posted about it. Big fan of it so far.
The new Avril Lavigne album has a couple songs that sound like they could be on country pop radio. Kind of a pleasant surprise.
