I know today is all about Ruston Kelly but Ben Danahers debut is also out today.

 

I’ve been really into this new album by Gold Star. Anybody that’s a fan of Ryan Adams would probably enjoy this, it has a pretty heavy RA influence in my opinion.

I gambled on Ruston Kelly figuring if Kacey can write a trippy country albums then this guy must be good as well.

The Kenny Chesney album isn't great because well it's a Kenny Chesney album, but because it's a Kenny Chesney album it also has some undeniable bangers on it

 

I actually like the Kenny album a fair amount. More than I thought I would. Seems more stripped down and honest than most of his stuff. Plus, there's a Travis Meadows song on it.

 

I don't think they are bad objectively, he just always makes too many songs I personally can't stand, haha.

I didn't play that record at all for the entire summer, for obvious reasons. Brought it back out this week with the cooler weather, though, and it's still so good.

 

Big Fan of that Woods record. Sang me to sleep many nights.

I've been huge on the latest Jeffrey Martin record. Not exactly country but I think someone posted it in the Singer/Songwriter Thread.
