Okay let’s give it a shot! Here’s a link to the playlist, we can come up with a more fun title later.

Rules:
1. Favorite country songs from the first half of 2025
2. Try to limit your submissions to 7 songs total — we can figure out if that number’s right later

Are we just putting our songs here in the thread? I can’t seem to add them to the actual playlist. I’m an Apple Music guy so maybe I’m missing something

 

It should be a collaborative playlist for anyone with a Spotify account! Send your picks to the thread if you don’t have the ability to add it.

Evan Bartels is so good. I was going to add Lula but we probably don’t need multiple songs from 1 artist in the playlist

 

He's probably #1 on my list to see at AmericanaFest. Cannot wait to see him!

 

I need to catch up on 2025 country music but this song kicks ass

 

Whole album is great. I’m a big fan of her song Cheerios.

 

I haven’t gotten through the album yet but it’s on my to do list for tomorrow.

 

Listened to Waylon Jenning's Dreaming My Dreams today on my flight and man what a fantastic record.

 

I tried adding songs and it won't let me either. My additions, one song from each of my top five favorite albums of the year so far + two others I've had on repeat:

Yep that worked! Added some songs. I didn’t want to duplicate artists so I put new faces in there.

 

I added a few songs as well. “Coyote” is probably my favorite country song released this year

 

Charles Kelley has his new album finally out today

I love Katie Pruitt, but this song is just ok for me

 

Always happy to get new stuff from Ian Noe even if it’s just a cover.

 

Major Don Henley vibes. I really enjoy this, even if it’s about five songs (and one cover) too long. @Craig Manning I forget if you saw this but I think you’d be into this.

 

Yeah it gets pretty repetitive towards the back half, but overall good vibes
