I’m really liking the new Parker Millsap, first of his that I’ve really connected with since The Very Last Day.

Still kind of (unfairly) think that he hasn’t quite lived up to his songwriting potential, but also that he’s eventually going to put out an all-timer.

I’m super late to the latest Adeem the Artist record and it’s so fucking good.

I’m dumbfounded how this slipped past me.

He's black and not a huge star. Doubt it.

 

If you trim the fat from the new Parker McCollum...its the album he should have made the last go around. Big improvement.

 

I liked his last one so I guess to each their own. Liking his new one as well. Best I Never Had might be my fave.

 

Thought the last album sounded too samey. It was fine but i didnt love it. More variety on the new one and i think the slower songs are much better this time around.
Say if you cut out: Hurricane, things i never told you, burn it down, too tight this time, and have your heart again. That brings it to ten songs and is really good IMO.

I aint going nowhere is my early fave.

 

The new Brandy Clark record out today might be her best since the debut. Really enjoying this track:

 

The new Kassi Valazza album is out today and it’s beautiful.

Looks like Luke Combs is performing here in Oslo in late September, at our biggest arena, so think I might try going

 

Here in Copenhagen he got upgraded from a 1500 cap venue to a 6000 cap venue to a 16000 cap venue which is now nearly sold out. Pretty crazy

 

Potential AOTY. Saw him a few nights ago and the new songs are killer.

 

The songwriting and sound of this record’s pretty great. Probably my most played of the last month. @Craig Manning did you spend much time with it yet?

 

Yeah, I am definitely a big fan of this album. Took me a few weeks to give it the time it deserved, but now I think it's probably her best album.

Enjoying the Pecos and the Rooftops that dropped today.

 

Tommy Prine debut album out today. Not exactly country but I figure maybe fans of his dad might at least be interested. It was produced by Ruston Kelley, who from listening to this, he is obviously influenced by.

 

I met Tommy at his show opening for Ruston at the Ascend Theater in Nashville. Super nice dude, excited to see where his career goes.

Nah he’s Black, he’ll probably stay gone. (Which he should, he’s a fucking monster, but I doubt the industry punishment would be the same for a white dude)
