Sierra Ferrell I just found out is playing here in Oslo on July 5th - yussss. So going. No idea how big the country music scene is here in Norway, haha, but hopefully a good crowd comes out
The Zach Bryan album is growing on me, as I slowly dig through the songs and parse the highlights. I still think it's way too much music for one release, but he's definitely got something.
I wouldn't really categorize it as a country song, so no use calling it a "bad country song". It's a fantastic pop song through and through, from an artist who normally does country
Anyone up on this? Found it randomly. I have to respect the fact that this guy released a tripple album as a major label debut EDIT: Literally a few posts above this haha
I checked and the CD release is two discs. I don’t care what the marketing says, that makes it a double album.
My brother is a huge fan of his, and I've liked some of his other stuff a lot, but I haven't been able to tackle that thing yet. I listened to a few songs and it didn't really grab me, but I wanna try to give the whole thing a chance when I have some time.
I could probably stand to lose about 10-12 songs from that record, but there's still a ton of good stuff. "Sober Side of Sorry" is a jam.
Yeah I still think that Zach Bryan album should've had about 7 or 8 songs cut, and then split into two separate, staggered releases. Put the outtakes up as a digital exclusive EP or something. On that note, I just realized the newest Alan Jackson album is 21 songs? Don't get me wrong I love me some Alan Jackson but, again...why is this such a trend in country all of sudden
